Poster, stickers and prints
Drawn with the same pens as the type.
Ink, structure and patience. Every mark here comes from the pens typodojo's fonts were drawn with: one round pen, and a broad nib held at one angle. Black and white, always.
mastery takes time.
repetition is the lesson.
The poster
Mastery takes time. Your first font takes five minutes.
The word typodojo set in Typo Textura, under a ribbon of broad-nib strokes.
Stickers
matte black vinyl, raised chrome foil.
Fifty-two dies, one spacing rule: art sits inside an inset of 15% of the sticker's short side, rings and frames at 7.5%. Each is earned in the dojo, never bought. Move your pointer across them; the light follows.

Typo
A few strokes of ink and a posture.
Typo is painted the way a brush painter catches a dog in one sitting: a seated shiba in profile, the tail curled on the hip. No eyes to act with, so the words do the work. Every stroke thins where the brush lifts, held at one angle like the nib in Typo Nib, so the mascot and the type come from the same hand.

Prints
One print per page, never behind words.
Each page of typodojo carries one band. They sit at the turns of a page, where nothing needs reading.
- ribbonOne broad nib, never lifted. The home page.
- texturaMinims, row on row, until it's cloth. The marketplace.
- kinetic baselineThe word rides a wave. Animation.
- a year of practiceOne dot a day. Pricing.
- dripInk running from a loaded brush. The download moment.
- practiceThe same letter, getting better. Sign in, download.
The voice
The master speaks briefly.
- short
A master doesn't explain twice.
- stern, warm
Stern about the work, warm to the student.
- dry
Humor is dry and earned, never a gag about himself.
- practice
Every line points back to practice, craft or the next step.
How typodojo writes
Character is in how, not what.
The voice comes from sentence shape and word choice. A line earns its place by instructing or by stating something true.
- structure
Short declaratives. Parallel lines. The rhythm carries the personality.
- vocabulary
The dojo's words, used exactly: practice, finished, even, drawn. Numbers over adjectives.
- no shortcuts
No winks, no asides about the copy, no telling people how to feel about it.
- utility
If a sentence neither instructs nor declares, it goes.
Yes, we said it twice. Your first font takes five minutes; a good one takes practice.
